youth and age

In my opinion such intergenerational activities as were mentioned in the text in Lithuania will have an opportunity to succeed in the far future, but not now, at first we have to change our opinion about old people.  Society thinks that being old means being already dead, this ridiculous attitude needs to be changed.
It is hard to predict will youth and age agree or not? I think it depends on certain personalities. There are  a few old people who have a modern atitude and they get on very well with youth, but still majority of old age people are very disappointed with youth. However, I think that this is almost impossible for them to agree, because youth and age are separated by different interests and needs.
Although, if both sides would try to be more tolerant towards each other,  would not judge each other for nothing and would show some interest in each other’s hobbies  then maybe there would be a possibility for them to become even friends.
